Data protection
The operators of this website take the protection of your personal data very seriously. We treat your personal data confidentially and in accordance with the statutory data protection regulations and this Privacy Policy.
When you use this website, various personal data are collected. Personal data are all data with which you can be personally identified. This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect and how we use it, as well as how and for what purpose this occurs.
Please note that data transmission on the internet (e.g., email communication) may have security gaps. Complete protection of data against access by third parties is not possible.
Controller information
The controller responsible for data processing on this website is:
Christoph Kleinbeck
Akademie für Sport Mental Coaching
Pflegerbauerstraße 10
81925 Munich
Telephone: +40 893 000 5498
Email: info@mental-coach.com
The controller is the natural or legal person who, alone or jointly with others, decides on the purposes and means of processing personal data (e.g., names, email addresses, etc.).
Withdrawal of your consent to data processing
Many data processing operations are only possible with your explicit consent. You may withdraw consent at any time with future effect. An informal email is sufficient. The lawfulness of processing carried out prior to withdrawal remains unaffected.
Right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority
In the event of a breach of data protection law, the affected person has the right to lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority. The competent authority is the data protection officer of the German federal state in which our company is headquartered. A list of data protection officers and their contact details is available here: https://www.bfdi.bund.de/DE/Infothek/Anschriften_Links/anschriften_links-node.html.
Right to data portability
You have the right to receive data that we process based on your consent or in fulfillment of a contract in a standard, machine-readable format, and to have it transferred to yourself or to a third party. Where you request direct transfer to another controller, this will occur only if technically feasible.
SSL/TLS encryption
For security reasons and to protect the transmission of confidential content (e.g., orders or inquiries you send to us as the site operator), this site uses SSL/TLS encryption. You can recognize an encrypted connection by the browser address line changing from “http://” to “https://” and by the lock symbol in your browser bar. When SSL/TLS encryption is active, data you transmit to us cannot be read by third parties.
Encrypted payments on this website
If, after concluding a fee-based contract, there is an obligation to transmit your payment data (e.g., account number for direct debit), such data is required for payment processing. Payment transactions using common means of payment (Visa/MasterCard, direct debit) are made exclusively via encrypted SSL/TLS connections. With encrypted communication, payment data you submit cannot be read by third parties.
Information, blocking, deletion
Within the framework of statutory provisions, you have the right at any time to free information about your stored personal data, its origin and recipients, and the purpose of data processing, as well as, where applicable, a right to rectification, blocking, or deletion of this data. For this and further questions regarding personal data, you can contact us at any time via the address given in the legal notice.
3. Data Collection on Our Website
Cookies
Our websites use cookies. Cookies do not harm your computer and do not contain viruses. Cookies help make our offering more user-friendly, efficient, and secure. Cookies are small text files stored on your device and saved by your browser.
Most of the cookies we use are session cookies, which are automatically deleted after your visit. Other cookies remain stored on your device until you delete them. These cookies enable us to recognize your browser on your next visit.
You can configure your browser to inform you about the setting of cookies and allow cookies only in individual cases, exclude cookies for specific cases or in general, and activate automatic deletion of cookies when closing the browser. Disabling cookies may limit website functionality.
Cookies required to carry out the electronic communication process or to provide certain functions you request (e.g., shopping cart) are stored on the basis of Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. The website operator has a legitimate interest in storing cookies for the technically error-free and optimized provision of its services. Any other cookies (e.g., for analyzing your browsing behavior) are addressed separately in this Privacy Policy.
Server log files
The site provider automatically collects and stores information that your browser automatically transmits to us in server log files:
Browser type and browser version
Operating system used
Referrer URL

These data are not merged with other data sources.
The legal basis for data processing is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, which permits processing to fulfill a contract or pre-contractual measures.

If you send us inquiries via the contact form, we store your details from the form—including the contact details you provide—for the purpose of processing your inquiry and in case of follow-up questions. We do not share this data without your consent.
Processing of the data entered in the contact form is based exclusively on your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). You may withdraw consent at any time; an informal email is sufficient. The lawfulness of processing carried out prior to withdrawal remains unaffected.

Registration on this website
You can register on our website to use additional features. The data entered will be used only for the purpose of using the respective offer or service for which you have registered. Mandatory fields must be completed in full; otherwise, we will reject registration.
For important changes (e.g., scope of services or technically necessary adjustments), we use the email address provided during registration to inform you.
Processing of data entered during registration is based on your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). You may withdraw consent at any time with future effect via informal email. The lawfulness of prior processing remains unaffected.
Data collected during registration is stored for as long as you are registered and then deleted. Statutory retention periods remain unaffected.
Newsletter data
If you wish to receive the newsletter offered on the website, we require a valid email address and information allowing us to verify that you are the owner of the specified email address and that you agree to receive the newsletter. No additional data is collected, or only on a voluntary basis. We use this data exclusively to send the requested information and do not share it with third parties.
Processing of data entered in the newsletter form is based solely on your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). You can revoke consent at any time, e.g., via the “unsubscribe” link in the newsletter. The lawfulness of processing already carried out remains unaffected.
Data provided for the purpose of receiving the newsletter will be stored until you unsubscribe and deleted after you cancel your subscription. Data stored for other purposes (e.g., member-area emails) remain unaffected.

Personal data processed may include: browser type and operating system, date/time/duration of access, IP address, contact information (e.g., email address and telephone number), and payment information when using fee-based services.
Processing is carried out to manage and improve customer relationships, administer contracts, and conduct targeted marketing activities. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (performance of a contract) or our legitimate interests under Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR in optimizing our services.
A data processing agreement has been concluded with the provider to ensure processing in compliance with applicable data protection laws.
Personal data is stored only as long as necessary for the above purposes or as legally required. You have the right to request information about stored personal data and to request correction or deletion, provided no legal retention obligations apply.
Comment function on this website
For the comment function, we store your comment, the time of creation, your email address, and—if you do not post anonymously—the username you chose.
Storage of IP address
Our comment function stores the IP addresses of users who write comments. Since comments are not reviewed prior to publication, we require this data to take action against the author in the event of legal violations (e.g., insults or propaganda).
Retention period for comments
Comments and related data (e.g., IP address) are stored and remain on our website until the commented content has been completely deleted or the comments must be deleted for legal reasons (e.g., offensive comments).
Legal basis
Storage of comments is based on your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). You may withdraw consent at any time via informal email. The lawfulness of prior processing remains unaffected.
Data transfer upon contract conclusion (online shops, merchants, shipping of goods)
We transfer personal data to third parties only where necessary for contract performance—for example, to companies entrusted with delivery or the credit institution responsible for payment processing. No further transfer occurs unless you have expressly consented. Your data will not be shared with third parties without explicit consent, e.g., for advertising purposes.
The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (performance of a contract or pre-contractual measures).

The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR.
4. Social Media
Sharing content via plugins (Facebook, Google+1, Twitter & others)
Content on our pages can be shared in a data-protection-compliant manner on social networks such as Facebook, Twitter, or Google+. This site uses the eRecht24 Safe Sharing Tool, which establishes direct contact between networks and users only once a user actively clicks a button. No automatic transmission of user data occurs. If the user is logged in to a social network, an info window appears for the user to confirm the text before sending. This enables users to share content without the network operators creating complete surf profiles.
Facebook plugins (Like & Share buttons)
Plugins of the social network Facebook (Facebook Inc., 1 Hacker Way, Menlo Park, CA 94025, USA) are integrated. The plugins are identifiable by the Facebook logo or the “Like” button. Overview: https://developers.facebook.com/docs/plugins/.
When you visit our pages, the plugin establishes a direct connection between your browser and Facebook’s servers, informing Facebook that your IP address visited our site. If you click the “Like” button while logged into Facebook, you can link our content to your profile; Facebook can associate the visit with your account. As site provider, we do not know the content of the transmitted data or its use by Facebook. More information: https://de-de.facebook.com/policy.php.
If you do not want Facebook to associate your visit, please log out of your Facebook account.

You can adjust privacy settings at: https://twitter.com/account/settings.
Google+ plugin
Our pages use Google+ functions (Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA). As provider, we receive no information on transmitted data or its use by Instagram. More information: https://instagram.com/about/legal/privacy/.
Tumblr plugin
Buttons of Tumblr (Tumblr, Inc., 35 East 21st St, 10th Floor, New York, NY 10010, USA) are used. These allow sharing a post/page or following the provider on Tumblr. When you access a site with a Tumblr button, your browser connects directly to Tumblr’s servers. According to current knowledge, the user’s IP address and the URL of the respective website are transmitted. More information: https://www.tumblr.com/policy/de/privacy.
LinkedIn plugin
Functions of LinkedIn (LinkedIn Corporation, 2029 Stierlin Court, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA) are integrated. More information: https://about.pinterest.com/de/privacy-policy.
5. Analytics and Advertising
Google Analytics
This website uses Google Analytics (Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA). Google Analytics uses cookies to analyze website use. Information generated by the cookie is typically transmitted to a Google server in the USA and stored there.
Storage of Google Analytics cookies is based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interests in analyzing user behavior to optimize the website and advertising).
IP anonymization
We have activated IP anonymization. Your IP address is shortened by Google within EU/EEA states before transmission to the USA; only in exceptional cases is the full IP sent and shortened there. Google uses this information to evaluate website use, compile reports, and provide other services to the website operator. The IP address transmitted by your browser is not merged with other Google data.
Browser plugin
You can prevent cookies by configuring your browser accordingly; however, this may limit website functionality. You can also prevent collection of data generated by cookies (including IP address) and processing by Google by downloading and installing the browser plugin at: https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=de.
Objecting to data collection
You can prevent collection of your data by Google Analytics by clicking an opt-out link (which sets an opt-out cookie).
More on handling user data: https://support.google.com/analytics/answer/6004245?hl=de.
Data processing agreement
We have concluded a data processing agreement with Google and fully implement the strict requirements of the German data protection authorities for Google Analytics use.
Demographics with Google Analytics
This website uses the “Demographics” feature, allowing reports on age, gender, and interests based on Google’s interest-based advertising and third-party data. This data cannot be assigned to any specific person. You can disable this feature via your Google account ad settings or by prohibiting data collection as described above.
Google Ads and Conversion Tracking
We use Google Ads and conversion tracking. When you click a Google-served ad, a conversion cookie is set (expires after 30 days; no personal identification). If the cookie has not expired and you visit certain pages, Google and we can recognize that you clicked the ad and were redirected. Each Ads customer receives a different cookie; cookies cannot be tracked across customers’ sites. Information obtained creates conversion statistics; advertisers receive aggregate numbers only.
If you do not wish to participate, you can disable the conversion cookie in your browser settings.
Storage of conversion cookies is based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interests in analyzing user behavior to optimize the website and advertising).
More information: https://www.google.de/policies/privacy/.
Browser cookie controls apply as described under Cookies.
Facebook Pixel
For conversion measurement we use the Facebook visitor action pixel (Facebook Inc., 1601 S. California Ave, Palo Alto, CA 94304, USA). This tracks user behavior after clicking a Facebook ad and helps evaluate ad effectiveness for statistics/market research and optimize future ads.
Data collected is anonymous to us; however, Facebook stores and processes it, potentially linking it to your profile and using it for its own advertising per Facebook’s privacy policy, enabling ads on and off Facebook. We cannot influence this use.
More information: https://www.facebook.com/about/privacy/.
You can deactivate Custom Audiences at https://www.facebook.com/ads/preferences/?entry_product=ad_settings_screen (requires Facebook login).
If you do not have a Facebook account, you can opt out of usage-based advertising from Facebook at: http://www.youronlinechoices.com/de/praferenzmanagement/.

Processing is based solely on your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). You can revoke consent at any time (e.g., via the “unsubscribe” link). The lawfulness of prior processing remains unaffected.
Data provided for newsletter registration will be used until you unsubscribe and then deleted. Data stored for other purposes (e.g., member-area emails) remain unaffected.
7. Plugins and Tools
YouTube
Our website uses plugins from YouTube (YouTube LLC, 901 Cherry Ave., San Bruno, CA 94066, USA). The transmission of your data to PayPal is based on Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR (consent) and Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (processing for contract performance). You may revoke consent at any time with future effect; this does not affect the lawfulness of prior processing.
