Christoph Kleinbeck has been working as a trainer, coach, and entrepreneur in the sports industry for over 35 years. He coaches top-level athletes including world and Olympic champions to develop exceptional mental strength. He also collaborates with Bundesliga and national team coaches across various sports.
With deep passion, he passes on this wealth of experience to participants in his signature program: the Sports Mental Coach Certification his true heart project.
Back then, I wasn’t nearly as aware of my own personal development or mental know-how as I am today. And looking back, that was a serious disadvantage.
For example, over 20 years ago, I worked as a personal trainer, mostly supporting people who wanted to lose weight. In those early years, I often approached the mental side too superficially even though I already had a solid foundation in mental training.
The results were okay, but more in the category of “lucky hits.” Yet whenever things went deeper like with my clients’ inner self-sabotage mechanisms I often felt overwhelmed and didn’t really know how to help.
Everything changed when I made the decision to train with the best mental coaches and trainers in the world.

The initial call is, of course, completely non-binding and free of charge. It’s simply a chance for us to get to know each other and explore which next steps make the most sense for you.
We offer different packages tailored to the needs of trainers and coaches:
The final exam takes place after 6 or 12 months.
However, after completing the program, you can remain in the group for an additional 6 or 12 months to deepen your experience and gain further insights and tips.

All mental areas that are essential for a Sports Mental Coach are structured into clear, topic-based online courses.

You will likely come across some elements you already know. However, the majority of the exercises have been developed and refined by Christoph himself.

Yes, there is an online exam. Once you have completed the courses and your required coaching sessions, you can register for one of the available exam dates.
After successfully passing, you will receive your certificate and may use the title:
Certified Sports Mental Coach (Advanced Level or Professional Level).
When booking the Advanced Level, you also have the option to take an online exam.

You can start the Sports Mental Coach training at the beginning of any month.
We will go through your learning plan in detail and integrate it effectively into your daily routine in a way that works best for you.
The earlier you apply, the higher your chances of securing a spot, as we only accept a limited number of new participants each month.
You have excellent opportunities across all areas of sport whether in talent development, competitive sports, or recreational sports.
We have developed tailored concepts together with club coaches, scouts, youth academy (NLZ) coaches, and recreational sports trainers.
Physiotherapists who work only partially with athletes can also use these methods to offer effective mental support processes to their “regular” patients.
Whether the program fits you and your current situation is something we can quickly determine in a personal consultation.
It depends. There are parents who are able to maintain emotional distance and are well suited for this role.
However, in some cases it’s better for young athletes to be supported mentally by a neutral third party.
We can determine the best solution together in a personal conversation.
Our training program also specifically includes modules on coaching children and young athletes.
The training currently starts at €320 per month.
